The Perfect Salmon Bowl
MACROS
100 C / 20 F / 55 P
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Salmon (170g) - I used wild caught Alaskan Sockeye
White rice (100g dry)
Avocado (40g)
TOPPINGS: cucumber, tomato, lettuce
SAUCE: light mayo (40g), soy sauce, sriracha
HOW TO:
Cook your rice as per the instructions. My preferred method is in a rice cooker.
Spice your salmon. I’d recommend using white pepper, onion powder, a little bit of garlic powder, and maybe even some cayenne pepper. Air fry for 15 min on 375F. Turn half-way through.
Wash and cut your veggies for the toppings. Cube your avocado.
You can either mix your mayo, soy sauce, and sriracha together to make a single sauce OR you can add them individually to your bowl. It’s up to you.
Once everything has been prepped and cooked, you’re ready to assemble! Rice at the bottom, toppings on top of that, add the salmon, and finish with sauce.
Before you take a bite, take a picture for me to see! Enjoy :)
BONUS TIPS
Any type of salmon will work. Be aware: different types of salmon may have different nutritional contents.
White rice can be substituted for brown rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice depending on your particular tastes and goals.
