Healthy Burger Bowl (w/ sauce!)

MACROS

58 C / 27 F / 60 P

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Lean ground beef - 97/3 (200g)

  • Potato medley (230g)

  • Garlic powder, paprika, sea salt, and black pepper

  • Romaine or iceberg lettuce

  • Tomato

  • Onion (50g)

  • Avocado (50g)

  • FOR THE SAUCE: G. Hughes SF ketchup, yellow mustard, nonfat Greek yogurt (30g), white distilled vinegar

  • OPTIONAL: American cheese

HOW TO:

  1. Wash and chop your potatoes. I usually cut mine in half and then in half again (almost into like a cube). Air fry at 375F for 20 minutes, flipping half way through.

  2. Chop up your onion. Yellow or sweet onion work best. Add to a pan on medium heat.

  3. Spice your ground beef. When the onions start to sizzle, add in the ground beef.

  4. Continue cooking until the ground beef has turned a nice golden brown. Turn off the heat and set aside.

  5. Wash and chop your lettuce and tomato. Cut up your avocado into either cubes or slices depending on your personal preference.

  6. To make the sauce: combine your yogurt with a hefty dollop of ketchup and mustard. There is no exact ratio. For me, I prefer more mustard than ketchup. In the end, you’re best bet is going to be judging by color. If the sauce is too thick for your liking because of the yogurt, add in a splash of vinegar.

  7. Assemble! Lettuce at the bottom, then beef, potatoes, and toppings on top. Use sauce on the side for dipping or drizzle on top - your choice!

  8. Take a picture, send me a dm and/or tag me, and enjoy!

BONUS TIPS

  • You can change up the beef to potatoes ratio depending on your specific macro goals :)
